RACE DETAILS

  • Bib pickup: Friday, October 9, 2026, at Common Block Brewing, 312 E 4th St, Medford, 4 pm to 7 pm

  • Bus transportation to the start of the marathon and the half-marathon:
    • Buses will be at Expo
      • Buses to the Marathon Start:
        • The first bus leaves at 5:15 a.m.;
        • The last bus for the marathon leaves at 5:45 a.m.
          • This bus will leave on time, and no other ride options will be provided after this. Please do not wait for the last bus as there may not be room.
    • For the marathon:
    • If you are picking up your bib at the Start, you should be on the first bus. 
    • And for the half-marathon
      • Buses to the Half-Marathon Start:
        • The first bus leaves at 6:35 a.m.;
        • The last bus for the Half-Marathon leaves at 7:00 a.m.
          • This bus will leave on time, and no other ride options will be provided after this. Please do not wait for the last bus as there may not be room.

If you drive to the start of either race, there will be NO transportation back to your car. There is  parking at the half-marathon start.

Bib Pickup

 

No same-day registration

Bib pickup is from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Common Block Brewing, 312 E 4th St, Medford, Oregon. Bibs can be picked up race day at the start line of each race. Please take the earliest bus available for your race.

* Note that Common Block Brewing vehicle access is from Apple St. off of 5th St. only.

Enjoy a pre-race meal or beer at Common Block Brewing after you pick up your race materials.

Race Morning

Arrival Time

Bus transportation to the start of the marathon begins at 5:15 a.m. Transportation to the start of the half-marathon begins at 6:35 a.m. The last bus for the marathon leaves at 5:45 a.m.; the last bus for the half leaves at 7:00 a.m. Buses will be located at Expo

* If you are picking up your bib at the Start, be sure to use the earliest bus for your event.

 

Any vehicles parking at Emigrant Lake will have to pay $7.00. There will be no ride provided back to the start to pick up your car if you park at the lake. There is no parking available near the start of the half marathon. We encourage everyone to ride the bus.

Weather

Although conditions vary greatly from year to year, historical temperature averages for race day are a low of 45 and a high of 65 degrees. The historical chance of precipitation on race day is roughly 20%.

Start Line

Marathon

The marathon starts at 7:30 a.m. at Emigrant Lake County Park (42.15665, -122.618061). Porta-potties will be available at the start. We will also have a bag drop for you if you wish to bring warm gear to the start. Drop bags will be available at packet pickup. We'll have a sign for drop bags at each start line. Bib tags with bib numbers will be attached to drop bags for pickup at the finish. Bags must be dropped off 30 minutes before the start time. Runners should not leave valuable items in drop bags. To prevent theft, runners will not be allowed in the drop-bag pickup area.

Half Marathon

The half marathon starts at 8:00 a.m. at Blue Heron Park.   Parking is available. Porta-potties will be available at the start. We will also have a bag drop for you if you wish to bring warm gear to the start.

10k

The 10k starts at 8:00 a.m. in Medford Bear Creek Park.

Kids 1-Mile

The kids' race starts at 11:00 a.m. at the marathon finish line. The kids will complete an out and back and finish at the same point. There will be a gun start and chip-timed finish. Entries for this race are limited to children under 13 years of age.

Finish Line

The finish line is in Medford at The Expo. Family, friends, and the local community are invited to cheer on runners as they cross the finish line. Please be aware that spectators are not allowed inside the runners' barricaded chute. We are expecting runners starting at approximately 9:10 a.m.

The Award Ceremony is at 1:00 p.m. at the Expo

Course Information

FULL: The marathon begins at Emigrant Lake County Park (42.15665, -122.783977) in Ashland, Oregon, continues on the Bear Creek Greenway, and ends in Medford at the Expo.  Shuttle buses will take you to the start from Expo.

HALF: The half-marathon begins at Blue Heron Park in Phoenix, continues on the Bear Creek Greenway, and ends at the Expo in Medford. Shuttle buses will take you to the start from the Expo.

FULL: There will be porta-potties at the bus pick-up area. There will also be porta-potties at the start and finish lines, as well as at the 11 aid stations along the course. The starting line will also have public restrooms available.  All aid stations will have water and electrolyte drink.

HALF: There will be porta-potties at the bus pick-up area. There will also be porta-potties at the start and finish lines, as well as at the 7 aid stations along the course. The starting line will also have public restrooms available.  All aid stations will have water and Electrolytes

10k: There will be porta-potties at the start line. All aid stations will have water and Heed electrolyte drink.

MEDICAL: Medics from Mercy Flights will be on course.

Time Limit

You are welcome to complete the race at your own pace, but aid stations and police support will be withdrawn after 1:10 p.m. Official timing ends 6 hours after the race begins.

Awards

All finishers receive a fantastic medal and T-shirt at the finish line.

The award ceremony begins at approximately 1:00 p.m. at the Expo.

Buses will be at the Expo.

The first bus leaves at 5:15 am to the Marathon Start and at 6:35 am to the Half-Marathon Start.

The last bus to the Marathon Start leaves at 5:45 a.m. The last bus to the Half-Marathon leaves at 7:00 a.m.
